Falling Apart

The old Agriculture Building on campus is being torn down this week.  It's right next to my office, and I can feel the walls shake everytime it gets hit with the bulldozer.  But I have to admit, it's pretty fun to watch.

However, that's been about the only fun thing this week. 

On Sunday, I got smacked on the head by a branch on the four-wheeler, giving me a huge bump and a major headache.  I also got bit by some nasty bug that made my entire arm swell up and go numb.  I even had to get on an antibiotic for it.

Then Monday morning, I woke up feeling sick to my stomach and nearly passed out when the doctor drew my blood for a routine check up.  Seriously, they didn't even want me to drive myself home.

So after taking off the rest of the day of work and sleeping all day, I woke up Tuesday morning to no power and therefore no shower before work.  Also, an itchy throat and runny nose.

So, in summary, I went to work exhausted, with greasy hair, a bandaged right arm, a swollen left arm, a bump on my forehead, a headache, achy stomach, scratchy throat and a cold.

I know how you feel Ag Building.

Whooooops

So, seeing as it's been over two months since I last posted, and Staci, Lacey and Cameron have been bugging me to update (they are my awesome fan club), I decided today was the day. 

The main reason I haven't posted is because I've been CRAZY BUSY and having so much fun!! Since April, I have been to the Festival of Colors (check off my bucket list),

 finished my first official year of college with flying colors, partied at Lava Hot Springs every other weekend,

partying with my amazing new roommates who I love,

 hanging out with my family,

working full time with adorable old people on campus,

getting addicted to this season of Bachelorette, 

 being in the beautiful sun as much as I can, and learning to wake up early. 

So there you have it. In a nutshell, that's just about everything I would have posted on in the last two months. I'll try to keep you more connected :)

My 2nd Spring Break

It was Rupert's Spring Break last week so my family came to visit me :) We went to Hunger Games, City Creek, and out to eat plenty of times.

On Wednesday, they left Addison with me and we partied it up.  We went to the zoo, park, Crystal Hot Springs, and anything else you can think of.

And THEN, this weekend I got to go home for General Conference weekend.

Needless to say I missed plenty of class last week, but it was sure a great vacation!

IT'S WARM!

Today it's been like, 60 Degrees!! But that feels super warm.  I didn't wear a jacket, drove with the windows down, and cleaned out my car.  And I found CHALK!! So I wrote my neighbors a message.  The sun puts me in such a good mood :)

Scavenger Hunt!

Such Good Citizens

Whenever Dakota and I find ourselves at a loss of things to do between classes, we give service, because we are just that good.  Check out these blankets we made for kids in Africa.

Ok, so we only made 3 of them today, but still.  We felt pretty good about ourselves. :)

SURPRISE!

As Dakota and I were walking to Institute, we noticed some suspicious people with signs.  Quickly, we realized that someone was going to propose.  So, naturally, we stood there like creepers wanting to see the action.  After a couple minutes, the group asked us if we would help.

Of course we agreed and got to hold cute signs.  And after she said yes, we got to throw candy at the happy couple.  As time went on, more and more people noticed what was going on and began to gather.  It was crazy.  Buuut here they are:
